Went for a quiet fish one Sunday afternoon at the wharf a 5 minute walk from Casey base. The name of the bay would you believe is called Geoffrey was going to do a Rex Hunt take a picture give it a kiss and send it on it's way. It did not happen but was amazed to see my little fury friends all of sudden make a appearance i am sure they had more luck then me.
The bottom picture is Gavin the weather guru releasing a weather balloon. This gets done twice a day  everyday ( weather permitting )and rises up very quickly expanding to around 5metres in diameter before bursting at a very high altitude recording wind speed, direction,temperature and moisture content.
