Exploring Peterson Island
After Breakfast went for a hike around the island. The flag i am holding is contained in a cylinder next to a plaque signifying the Americans landing at this point in 1948.
The place is full of wild life as you can see.
The first landscape shot looks back towards Browning Peninsula with that flat section being the channel between the the mainland and the island. The second shot is the little bay looking towards north east point of Peterson Island.
Went back to our Shelter which is technical called a Melon had lunch cleaned up and hiked back to our Hagglin. The next point of call is going to be Browning Peninsula looking towards Vanderford Glacier.
